This policy explains what data Sloth Army Bot ("the bot," "we," "us") collects when it's added to a Discord server, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can request it be removed.
Sloth Army Bot is operated by Aveege Productions LLC, doing business as Sloth Army Products.
We've written this in plain language rather than dense legal text, and we've tried to make it accurately describe what the bot's code actually does — not just what a generic privacy policy template says.
The bot only collects data that's needed to run the features a server's admins choose to enable. We do not collect real names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, or payment information.
Discord identifiers — user IDs, server (guild) IDs, channel IDs, and role IDs. These are the numeric IDs Discord itself assigns; they're pseudonymous but can identify a specific Discord account.
Content you or others provide to bot features, only when a server's admins turn that feature on:
/quote add or the "Save as Quote" message action/suggestActivity and moderation data, generated by using the bot:
What we explicitly do not store: ordinary chat messages are read only in the moment needed to check them against a server's enabled filters (automod, XP, custom tags) and are not saved afterward, except where a feature's whole purpose is to save specific content (quotes, tags, tickets, warnings) as listed above.
Each category above exists to support a specific feature a server's admins chose to enable. For example: warnings are stored so moderators can see a member's history and so automatic escalation (timeout/kick/ban after repeated warnings) can work; invite data is stored so invite leaderboards and fake-account detection can function; quotes are stored because saving and recalling them is the entire point of that feature.
We don't use this data for advertising, and we don't sell or share it with third parties beyond what's described below.
Some bot features call external services to work:
Server admins can delete most data directly using the bot's own commands — for example /quote delete, /warningadmin remove, /inviteadmin reset. This is the fastest way to remove specific data.
Individual users who want data about them removed (for example, a quote or warning tied to their account) can ask a server admin to remove it using the commands above, or contact us directly at SlothArmyProducts@gmail.com with your Discord user ID and a description of what you're requesting.
We will respond to direct requests within 30 days. Similar to standard practice among Discord bots, we may retain a minimal record (such as a user ID and timestamp with no other detail) on certain moderation-related deletions, solely to prevent the deletion process itself from being used to evade moderation history. If this applies to your request, we'll tell you what, if anything, is retained and why.
No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee against every possible incident. If a data breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify affected server admins and, where required by law, relevant authorities, without undue delay.
Discord's own Terms of Service require users to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country). We don't knowingly collect data from anyone below that age, and we rely on Discord's own age requirements as the basis for that.
If you're located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with its own data protection laws, you may have rights including: access to the data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your data, and receiving a copy of your data in a portable format. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting us at SlothArmyProducts@gmail.com.
Our basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in providing the bot's features to servers that choose to enable them.
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the bot after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
Questions about this policy, or requests regarding your data, can be sent to: SlothArmyProducts@gmail.com
This document was drafted to accurately describe the bot's actual data practices, but it is not legal advice. If Sloth Army Bot grows to serve a large number of servers, we intend to have this policy reviewed by a qualified legal professional.
