Welcome to Sloth Army Bot ("the bot," "we," "us"). By adding the bot to your Discord server or otherwise using it, you agree to these Terms.
We've written these in plain language, and tried to make them accurately describe how the bot actually works — not just generic legal boilerplate.
Sloth Army Bot is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce optional donation support in the future; if we do, we'll update this section to describe how that works. Core bot functionality is intended to remain free regardless.
You agree not to use the bot to:
We may restrict or revoke the bot's access to any server, or block any user from using specific features, if we determine this section has been violated.
If you set up or configure the bot for your server, you're responsible for:
We aim to keep the bot reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime. The bot may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, hosting provider outages, Discord API outages, or other factors outside our control. We're not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from downtime.
The bot is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the bot will be error-free, secure from all possible vulnerabilities, or fit for any purpose beyond its described features.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aveege Productions LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the bot — including but not limited to data loss, server disruption, or moderation actions taken through the bot's automated features.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data the bot collects, why, and how long it's kept — including the automatic deletion of a server's data 30 days after the bot is removed. That policy is part of these Terms.
You can remove the bot from your server at any time. We may suspend or revoke the bot's access to a server, or terminate a user's ability to use specific features, for violations of these Terms or for operational/security reasons.
Features may be added, changed, or removed as the bot is developed further. We may also update these Terms; if we make meaningful changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the bot after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
The bot integrates with Discord to function at all, and optionally with the Twitch, YouTube, Steam, and Bluesky APIs for specific features a server admin can choose to enable. Each of these platforms has its own terms governing their services; we're not responsible for their availability or practices.
